All Klutz kits are AWESOME, but this one and their Kawaii cake making one have been favorites with my eight year old and eleven year old. The materials are high quality, and all the accessories are so easy to use and cute. But what you’re REALLY paying for with Klutz over and over again are the amazing, well-illustrated instructions. They show you what size clay ball to roll for every single piece, so it’s so easy to make exactly what you see on the package. It might be a nice compliment to this as a gift if you buy additional black, white, tan, brown and light pink Sculpey (“bakeable”) clay so they can make TONS of animals. The clay is generous, but my kiddo wants to make tons of animals to give pets to all their stuffies and to give them away to friends. What you see in my photo isn’t even half of what my kids have made, and they still have 1/2 - 3/4 of their clay left!
